The club’s meetings are traditionally called ‘classes’. There is no formal teaching, although we are always happy to offer help and advice. Members and guests must be a minimum of18 years of age to attend life classes.

* The Tuesday portrait class is also streamed online for members.
All classes: Tea, coffee is available for members and guests to make their own drinks during the break. One person at a time in the kitchen area.
PRE-BOOKING IS NOT REQUIRED FOR ANY OF OUR CLASSES.
If arriving as a guest or without a key fob, use the intercom on the main door. Find ‘Liver Sketching’ on the menu and push the bell for access. If there is any problem, call the phone in the studio 07913 164 244 .

The Liver Sketching Club is the oldest continuously active art club in England. We have been hosting life and portrait drawing and painting classes in Liverpool since 1872.
Our members meet around 40 times each month at the club's studio in the centre of Liverpool, to draw and paint from the live model. We welcome non-members at these sessions.

The Liver Sketching Club has around nine meetings each week at which members draw or paint from the live model. This means that the club sometimes has vacancies for life or portrait models.
If you are interested in modelling and are over 18 years old you can enquire to modelenquirylsc@yahoo.com. The model secretary will respond if there are any current vacancies.
