We are working on plans to resume our activities in the studio.

From 19 April, a few restricted-access classes are taking place under strict Covid rules.

From 17 May, more classes will resume with fewer restrictions but with sensible precautions.

studio hire.

The studio is available for hire by members for private use whenever there isn't a class in progress. Bookings must be made by email to liversketchingclub@yahoo.co.uk and will be confirmed to you. The cost is £10 per hour for the first 2 hours, then £5 per hour.

If you plan to visit the studio - apart from a scheduled class, you must check with the Secretary to make sure there isn't a booking at that time as members who have paid for the hire will expect exclusivity.

150th anniversary.

The Liver Sketching Club, believed to be the oldest continuously active art club in England, will celebrate its 150th anniversary in May 2022.

It was founded in 1872 and has been active in the city ever since.

Details of events to mark this significant milestone will be shown on this website nearer the time.
